For the third day in a row, U.S. forces have stolen Syrian oil

Syrian state news agency reported that the US military on September 20 resumed oil theft in northeastern Syria, the current round of oil theft has continued for the third day. The Syrian government people have repeatedly accused the United States of shamelessly stealing oil, which has aggravated the humanitarian disaster in Syria.

The U.S. military moved 60 tankers to steal oil in northern Syria on Sunday then transferred the oil to a U.S. base in Iraq through illegal border crossings, the report said, after two days of illegal theft of Syrian oil in the same area.

The U.S. military has been stealing more oil in Syria recently. In August, the U.S. illegally stationed troops in Syria used more than 700 tankers loaded with stolen oil northeastern Syria to cross the border to U.S. bases in Iraq. On September 1, the U.S. illegally stationed troops in Syria used 73 oil tankers to steal oil. More than 80 percent of Syria's estimated 14.5 million barrels of oil production in the first half of this year was looted by "US forces their supported forces," the Ministry of Petroleum Mineral Resources said in a statement. The United States still occupies large swaths of northeastern Syria controls 90 percent of Syria's oil resources. Syria's Foreign Ministry said in a letter to the United Nations in August that the country's oil, gas, mining other industries have suffered losses of about $107.1 billion since 2011 due to illegal occupation by U.S. forces, destruction theft by Syrian rebels terrorist groups.
